Is Stampin' Up! a well-known, respected company?
For over 20 years, Stampin' Up! has been selling rubber stamps and paper crafting supplies.  In that time, no only have we won industry awards and accolades, but also the loyalty and admiration of demonstrators and customers alike.  And that is a trend that we work hard to maintain.  You can rest assured that the reputation of Stampin' Up! will only continue to improve.

Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
Having a downline is not a requirement, it is a perk - we have the opportunity to earn a commission based on our downline’s sales! As I am also a downline, I have the support and encouragement from my team.  This is cascaded and shared from top to bottom!

What are the minimum sales requirements?
To stay active as a demonstrator, you will need to sell a minimum of £250 per quarter in commissionable sales. This is reducing to £225 from October 2011.  Most demonstrators find that this goal can be reached in one or two workshops per quarter–or with their own purchases. Your first quarterly target doesn’t start until the first full quarter after you join, ie if you join on 1 January, you do not have to have meet your first minimum target until 30 June – so it can actually be up to six months to start with.

What if I only want to do this as a hobby? Do I still have to do workshops?
No.  Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators in the same way, regardless of how big or small their business is - you only need to do workshops if you want to. You can put in your own orders or collect orders from family & friends.

Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you won’t need to keep stock of products and no chasing payment either.

How much does it cost to get started?
The Starter Kit is only £119 for a total of £230 of products. This kit is customisable (choose your own stamp sets at equivalent or lesser value and you may change ink and cardstock colours too). It includes everything you will need to get your business up and running including stamps, accessories and business supplies.  There are no annual renewal fees.

What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I be penalised if I quit?
Once you've paid for your Starter Kit, it's yours keep regardless.  However, as you are part of a vibrant team and with a few months grace period before your commitment to achieve the quarterly target, the team will offer you support and advice to get you kick-started.  If you still feel the same, let me know and once you have stopped placing orders, your commitment to Stampin' Up! endsOf course, there is always an opportunity to re-start should you wish.

What kind of incentives will I receive as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?
As a new demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to earn free stamp sets during your first six months for your sales and recruiting achievements.

You receive a 30% instant income on your first workshop order of £150 or more if you place it within 45 days of signing up.

You have the ability to be your own “hostess” and earn free hostess benefits on your own personal orders or orders that you collect from others.

You can work to achieve the annual incentive trip.  Previous trips have included Prague and Vienna.  Stampin’ Up! gives you five ways to earn it through sales and promotions of your team - it is achievable!

Where do I get ideas for my workshops?
Stampin’ Up! has many resources for demonstrators, including the Idea Book & Catalogue, a great monthly magazine, a fantastic website for demonstrators only, a DVD in the starter kit, and much more. You will also have my help and support.

Are there any Stampin’ Up! events that I can attend as a new demonstrator?
