What a Fab Day!

I have just spent the most fabulous day meeting and making - meeting friends and making new ones, making lovely projects and even demonstrating one!!  And, if that wasn't enough, we all got free stuff, too! 

The Stampin' Up! UK training tour culminated in Edinburgh - Demonstrators converged from all over Scotland, hailing from Aberdeen to Ecclefechan, and even two intrepid ladies from Antrim, NI!!  That's what I call dedication.  The day was peppered (to use Paula's phrase!!) with motivation, inspiration, demonstration, brainstorming and roleplay.  Just brilliant!

Theresa's Stampin' Up! Team had our bi-monthly meeting last night and here are the lovely swaps we made.  Our team is mushrooming as we welcomed Angela, Wendy and Paula to our group!

Michele was the consumate hostess with free-flowing refreshments and, of course, she got out her Big Shot and we sampled the newly issued Top Note die from the 2011 mini catalogue to make a little basket, fit for all goodies!!

Theresa had made us each a broach from remnants, again, using the Big Shot and Circles #2 die.  The things you can do with a heat gun and a brad!

All my eggs in one basket!

Exciting times are approaching in the new mini catalogue. Using an exclusive Stampin' Up! Scallop Envelope Big Shot Bigz die, I've created an Easter basket.  This would be perfect to use as a gift with pamper goodies for Mothers Day, even.

Flog!

As I emerge from hibernation (it's 9 degrees outside!) and as thoughts turn towards the summer months, I thought I'd start a fitness log or "flog", if you will!  Because that's how I feel, really, about the exercise thing.  I've put to use the wonderful Artistic Etchings here with Love Letter DSP and picked out my initial with the Broadsheet Alphabet in Red Riding Hood.  Inside I've pulled pages from an old unused accounts book, actually, and inserted matching cardstock and attached tabs using the Round Tab punch.  I've used the Color Spritzer Tool to accent the page topper and blinged with some Basic Rhinestones.  It has all been put together using my Zutter.  What a wonderful invention that is!  I wonder if Stampin' Up! will ever offer that?
