I made this little one for my nephew, who's 12 today! Happy Birthday, Matt!! I've used Pennant Parade for the party hats layered over the Square and Large Square punches. The background I ran through my Big Shot using Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The sentiment is from Happiest Birthday Wishes which is a super exclusive Hostess Set in 2011-12 catalogue. I've used the Stampin' Write markers to ink up.
Stampin' Write markers are a superb way to inking up your images with multi-colours. These are available as a set of the all the core colours £89.95 and comes in a super storage case with room for all the current in colours. In Colours can be purchased separately for £11.75 each or indeed, if you prefer, you can buy them singlely for £2.95 to get your favourites.

Regional Training Swap!
Here is the swap I'm using for the Stampin' Up! Regional Training today in Edinburgh - the paper is Twitterpated from the much anticipated Summer 2012 mini launching on 1 May along with the greeting from Delightful Dozen. I've used Adorning Accents with the Big Shot and the Designer Frames embossing folder.

Simply Stampin ' Sketch Challenge!
My Big Shot has been doing overtime recently! Here, I've taken inspiration from the Simply Stampin' Challenge #55 Sketch. Using 2012 In Colours of Lucky Limeade and Pool Party along with Everyday Enchantment from the recently finished SAB event, I've put my embossing folders (Stripes and Perfect Polka Dots) to good use together with Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.
I've embossed the butterflies with white using an image from the 2012 SAB Fresh Vintage. The sentiment is from stamp set It's Your Day cut with the Word Window Punch.

Welcome Home!
Using my Big Shot and Alphabet Simple letters on thick card, I embossed these with Silver powder and used the 2-way Glue Pen to adhere them to the card. The paper is Flirtatious Specialty DSP and the image is taken from Hopeful Thoughts and inked in Wisteria Wonder and Lucky Limeade. The sentiment is a partially inked stamp from Heard from the Heart and punched out using the Word Window

Happy Cupcakes!
I thought I'd get kick started with a Simply Stampin' Challenge today. As I've not used this stamp set before or the co-ordinating punch, I thought I'd give it whirl. This is Create a Cupcake from the Spring Mini Catalogue along with Cupcake Builder Punch, finishing it off with Big Shot Lots of Tags and the extra large oval punch for the sentiment.

Artistic Etchings!
I'm starting to build up my samples for the Sincerely Yours Craft Show in Edinburgh on Saturday 30 April. I thought the best idea would be to use all the stamp sets I have and design and produce a card front. What better place to start than with 'A'. A is for Artistic Etchings!!
This has simply been stamped in Early Espresso and River Rock on Very Vanilla card. I've used a Sponge Dauber with River Rock to give the edges of the card and the flower embellishment an aged look.
Putting my new Big Shot to good use, I used the Fun Flowers Bigz L Die with Love Letter DSP. I used my River Rock Stampin' Write Marker to shade just a little of the En Francais background stamp.
This is Baroque Motifs. I bought this one as my Sale-a-Bration reward! I've used Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist with Rhinestones for flower centres. Added a little Whisper White 5/8" organza ribbon. Great little 2 minute card when you're in a hurry!
From the new Mini Catalogue, this is Clearly for You. Monotone in Bravo Burgandy. It's a little difficult to see, but I've used the Spritzer Tool on the images. I'm liking my Fun Flowers for the Big Shot. Here it is again and I've added a little contrast in the button in More Mustard.

Class Act!
This is the guest gift I'm offering at today's class made with the Mini Milk Carton Die in the current Mini Catalogue. Sooooo cute! I've used Real Red card stock, along with Love Letters paper, punched a hole using 1/8" circle and tied it off with a little 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon. Ideal gift idea: put a Creme Egg inside or a little offering for Teacher at the end of term.

Team Swaps!

Theresa's Stampin' Up! Team had our bi-monthly meeting last night and here are the lovely swaps we made. Our team is mushrooming as we welcomed Angela, Wendy and Paula to our group!
Michele was the consumate hostess with free-flowing refreshments and, of course, she got out her Big Shot and we sampled the newly issued Top Note die from the 2011 mini catalogue to make a little basket, fit for all goodies!!
Theresa had made us each a broach from remnants, again, using the Big Shot and Circles #2 die. The things you can do with a heat gun and a brad!

All my eggs in one basket!
Exciting times are approaching in the new mini catalogue. Using an exclusive Stampin' Up! Scallop Envelope Big Shot Bigz die, I've created an Easter basket. This would be perfect to use as a gift with pamper goodies for Mothers Day, even.
