Sweet Valentine!

With just 2 weeks until Valentine's Day, I thought I'd put together some ideas.  Here I've used the You Are Loved heart as a background stamp which I have inked and embossed on the layers, along with the wings and leaves from the Bird Punch.  The Red Glimmer Paper is just perfect for this occasion.

In Sympathy

Never a pleasant task, I feel, however I always think the thoughts and feelings that go in to making a sympathy card always helps to put things into perspective.  I have chosen muted colours from the Elegant Soiree DSP along with Basic Black, Soft Suede and Saraha Sand card stock.  The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations and, for the motif, I used the two step Bird punch, finishing off with a pearl for the eye and little 1/8" Taffeta ribbon.
